I purchased this guitar just for fun, and I definitely would agree with the others who wrote reviews - great quality for the price! If you're looking for an easy playing, fair sounding guitar, then this is the one you want. Like stated previously, you could change the pickups is you want something a little more beefy, but it really does sound good straight out of the box! I give it 5 stars for the quality compared to the price.

I was surprised on how smooth and easy it was to use the fretboard, and with the right amp it sounds near as great as an Ibanez! It's clean tones are near acoustic level I love it!

Don't let the price fool you!

The Squier Bullet is one of the best beginner guitars on the market. The neck is comfortable, the pickups have a wonderful "chimey" sound and I love the daphne blue finish.
I'd say that with pickup upgrades, a nice setup and some new tuners that this guitar would easily sound and play like a $500-600 guitar.
