The G5122BK Electromatic Series Hollow Body is Gretsch's double cutaway version of the iconic Electromatic guitar. Nearly identical to its' stable mate, the 5120, the 5122's double cutaway body design provides a slightly different look and a mildly different voice due to the difference in the body chamber volume. Maple body and neck construction preserve the overall tone of the Electromatic series and the classic looking touches like the vintage tuning machines and Gretsch logo'd hardware pieces preserve the look. As with all guitars in the Electromatic series, the 5122 provides golden era tone from the 60's as well as today's hottest sounds.
