Great guitar for my son, Good Value

My son would not stop bothering me to play my guitar. He is only 10 and I finally decided to get him one of his own. I looked around at a bunch of guitars and looked at some at a few department store. I made some calls and looked at a few websites, and ended up finding the Jasmine 35 online here. I know the Takmine name so I felt a lot better about trusting it would be good quality. We are glad we went with the Jasmine (by Takamine) and not the department store. The quality ended up being a lot better and the price was about the same maybe 20 bucks more but this is not toy either. The sound is good and more importantly it plays really well. We have only had it for about a week now, but it was definitely worth the extra 10 bucks or so and waiting the 2 days it took to ship to me.

Great Guitar for the money!

This is a great guitar for the money. There are a ton of junk guitars out there and this aint one of them. Sure its not like the thousand dollar Takamine, and it is a Jasmine. I think the s35 is like a loss leader or something cuz it is cheap but plays really good. The guitar strings arent real high like most cheap guitars that kill your fingers. I would recomend it for beginnners or anyone who wants a ok to mid quality guitar for kicken around the camp fire. Its cheap and good. My kind of git fiddle.
