Patterned after the wildly successful Giovanni
Compact Congas, Latin Percussion introduces the LP Giovanni Compact Bongos with
Mounting Post. Featuring a portable, "shell-less" drum designed in collaboration
with master percussionist Giovanni Hidalgo, they are suitable for both practice
and performance.
Heralded by trade magazines and showered with awards, these unique, Gio compact
bongos offer full-sized, 7-1/4" and 8-5/8", synthetic heads that are fully
tunable with a standard drum key. The acclaimed LP828 compact bongos come with
the top post for mounting on just about any bongo stand base and their compact
design allows for easy placement in drum kits or percussion set ups where space
is limited.
Made from a special aluminum alloy, the sound is extremely close to that of
standard bongos and they respond well to intricate hand patterns or can be
played with drum sticks for an amazing range of tones. LP Giovanni Compact
Congas also available.
