Real Marshall tone	*April, 2011*

Marshall getting it right.

I have been reading some really good things about this Marshall head. Recently, I had read enough and decided I would give it a try. Half breed amps and onboard effects are both concepts that have been around for a while now. I don't feel that anyone had gotten it right until the JMD100 came along. It is a very convincing emulated full tube sound. I don't know that I would be able to tell the difference if I weren't looking right at it. Run it dry or with a touch of verb and you can call up all kinds of classic Marshall tones. Engage your favorite effects and you've got a complete stage rig capable of just about any tone you need. Even the heavier sounds of modern metal are in there. And remember when half breed amps completely lost their guts when you cranked them up? Those days are gone. Marshall really did get it right with this one.
