Adamas Acoustic & Acoustic-Electric Guitars

In 1973, Adamas proved that a carbon fiber soundboard could be made to perform like wood, only better. By using thin layers of carbon fiber combined with wood, Adamas guitars yielded both spectacular lows and brilliant highs, in every climate and with just about any string gauge. The carbon fiber top allowed Adamas designers to create unique and never-before-seen reverse bursts and exotic colors.

Adamas pioneered the multi-soundhole top design. Without the center soundhole, the top can be more lightly braced for a louder, deeper tone and still be stronger than a traditional spruce top. The multi-soundhole design started with Adamas in 1975. It was no accident or cosmetic quirk this design requires less bracing allowing the top to vibrate more freely. The “Quintad” bracing pattern allows maximum top vibration for maximum volume.
