Taylors' GT-8 Baritone, like all of their instruments, is a stunningly beautiful guitar, but, with a couple of differences. Along with the big, resonant sound of a baritone Taylor has added octave strings to the D and G strings. Layering just a hint of twelve string jangle on top of the already big sound gives the GT-8 a voice all its' own. The feel is very much like a six string and playability is typical Taylor. Combining
a beautiful solid Sitka Spruce top with Indian rosewood sides and back provides a tone that is both complimentary to the guitars naturally lower tonal range and gorgeous. The Grand Symphony body is comfortable and well balanced. A totally new experience that you have to try to believe.
