With the die
With the die-cast aluminum
Visual Volume, the rocker position is indicated by a column of ten LED s. With
the rocker fully back (toe up, heel down) all of the lights are off and so is
the volume. As you rock your foot forward, the indicators light up one by one
until all 10 are lit. When all lights are on, you re at maximum volume. To find
your level at a glance, LEDs 1-4 are blue, 5 is red, 6-9 are blue again, and 10
is red.
Visual Volume recommends using a high-quality regulated 9VDC adapter like the 1
Spot. Boss PSA, Dunlop ECB-03, Ibanez AC-109, and Morley 9V also acceptable. The
Visual Volume pedal is easy to service. If you ever wear out the control pot,
Visual Volume has a kit to restore your pedal to like new service. Many users
are even able to make the switch themselves.
Inputs and Outputs
Input 1 and Output 1 are all you need for mono volume control.
Tuner Out: Even with the volume all the way down, the tuner out still sends
volume to your tuner, allowing you to tune silently without switching any cables
around.
If you don t plug into Input 2, both Outputs send the signal from Input 1, so
you can plug into 2 different amps at the same time.
Plug into inputs 1 & 2, and the Visual Volume becomes a stereo volume pedal.
Great if you put a Stereo Chorus pedal in front of the Visual Volume.
Or, plug 2 guitars into the Visual Volume and you can make quick guitar changes
without unplugging.
Other adjustments
With the removal of the bottom plate on your pedal you can set the pedal for
active or passive mode, adjust pedal tension, and in active mode, individually
set the gain for each input.
