In 1966, Ovation guitars arrived on the scene with their round backs and new ideas. Ovation guitars are the result of Charlie Kaman, a guitarist, seeing a need to diversify his aviation company into other markets where aerospace technology could create better products. Ovation Balladeer's round backs and innovative ideas had purists shaking their heads and Professional musicians hailing the guitar's performance!

Ovation Acoustic Guitar Series

Balladeer Series: Available in The Balladeer is the biggest selling USA-made Ovation. Oustanding craftsmanship + mind-blowing electronics = total package.

Standard Balladeer Series: Available in The Standard Balladeer is available in many color, electronic, string and bowl variations.

Celebrity Series: Available in Available dreadnought cutaway models of acoustic, classical and 12 string guitars feature, A bracing, a pattern which is generally found in more expensive models. The Celebrity models mahogany tops produce a moodier sound then the spruce tops.

Ultra Series: Available in Partially assembled in the USA, Ovation's Ultra series offers a variety of high quality instruments at mid-budget pricepoints

Celebrity Deluxe Series: Available in Available in a variety of colors these electric acoustic and 12 string cutaway guitars feature multiple soundhole technology and Quintad bracing usually found in much more expensive guitars!

Legend Series: Available in Dreadnought and cutaway models of acoustic electric and classical guitars. Features include A bracing, a pattern which is generally found in more expensive models. The Celebrity models mahogany tops produce a moodier sound then the spruce tops.

Elite Series: Available in Available in a variety of colors these acoustic, electric acoustic and 12 string cutaway guitars feature scalloped bracing, some with multiple soundholes and detailing found only in much more expensive guitars.
