The LP Claw is the most unique mounting system of its kind in
the world. Introduced in the early eighties, it has since become a standard
among studio engineers, drum techs, drummers, and percussionists in all areas of
music. The unique design of The LP Claw provides a variety of placement choices
for splash cymbals, percussion accessories, and microphones.
The newly contoured jaws, with lined rubber mounts, fit tight
to any standard drum rim and to all LP rims including traditional, LP Comfort
Curve® II, LP Matador Soft StrikeTM, and CP EZ Curve®. The new longer
body allows the jaw to open wide enough to fit bass drum hoops and close enough
for the side edges of amplifiers.
LP's super gripping eye-bolt assembly is now used to firmly
grip the accessory rods included with all models. The accessory rod pivot allows
for full 360° rotation for precise rod positioning.
The LP Percussion Claw® allows you to add almost any
mountable percussion instrument, including LP
Cowbells, LP
Jam Blocks® or
LP Cyclops® Tambourines anywhere on drum sets, marching drums or percussion
set ups. It holds tight to any standard drum rim and can open wide enough to
grip bass drum hoops. The knurled texture of the 3/8" diameter Z rod is perfect
for use with LP's forged eye-bolt mounting assembly found on many LP
instruments.
