The EC256 from ESP Ltd is for those of us who love the look and feel of a real, aged vintage guitar but don't want to get a 2nd mortage to finance one. The same high quality of manufacturing goes into the EC-256 as all the other ESP guitars, but more attention to detail is spent on the 256 model to authentically replicate those "worn-in" spots.
Aside from the vintage charm exuded by the EC256, all the great ESP features are built-in, including a set mahogany neck into a mahogany body, genuine ESP tuners and smokin' ESP LH-150 humbucking pickups (which can be split via the tone knob to reproduce a true single-coil tone for those times when you really need to cut through the mix).
