Kyser KDS800 guitar fretboard conditioner is designed to keep your fretboard conditioned and looking and feeling great. Just as you use a humidifier to keep your guitar from drying out, you don't want your fretboard to dry out either. If the edges of your frets feel rough, the problem is not always that you have a poor quality guitar or that your frets need work, it is likely because your fretboard has dried out. Wood shrinks as it dries out and metal does not. As the wood shrinks the edges of the frets stick out more. The simple solution? When you change your strings, rub Kyser fretboard conditioner on your guitars neck. It also works great on non-glossy non-finished guitar bodies.
