The ultra Tripod guitar stand features sturdy built black powder coated steel tubing construction with a lifetime warranty. It collapses for easy transport and is adjustable in height. Ideal for almost any guitar. It's base cradle arms instantly balance to accomodate the shape and placement of your guitar. All parts that touch the guitar are covered in surgical tubing for protection and a slight grip to prevent accidental fall out. IMPORTANT NOTE: These types of stands should not be used with GIBSON USA HANDMADE guitars or any guitar with a nitrocellulos finish for extended preiods of time. If left in the stand for long periods of time, the finish could react with the protective coating. Never put a nitroceluoloss finish guitar in a stand with any type of foam or rubber touching the instrument. Nitrocellulos is not very common and very few manufacturers are still using it. Gibson USA is one of the few exceptions. It is typically only found on VERY expensive guitars. Almost all guitars today have a polyurethane finishes which is will be no problem for this stand or any typical guitar stand.
