World Music Supply prefers to ship all orders to the card holder and billing address associated with each card. However, we will ship to an alternate address after certain security precautions are met.
Note: FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes.
An alternate shipping address must be on file with your bank or credit card company, or the phone number for
the delivery address must be a published number. Such a qualifying number will typically be a landline (home phone), as mobile (cellular) phones rarely return an address. The phone listing must match in both address and ship-to name.
The only exception to this will be for US Military AE addresses overseas.

Orders with an alternate shipping address that cannot be satisfactorily verified through publicly accessible means will be delayed until you meet the qualifications outlined above.
We take pride and care in packaging every item you order to arrive
safely to your door as fast as possible. We utilize FedEx, which
often offers faster delivery, less handling damage, and thus is our
default carrier. Over 40-50% of the population should receive their
packages within 2 business days of shipment and over 60% within 3 days.
FedEx Express fills their cargo planes to capacity, so after
all the "air" packages are loaded they fill the rest of the plane with
ground packages to make up the difference. That's right, quite often you can get
"air" service at ground prices. This means that a
large percentage of deliveries arrive ahead of schedule. When was
the last time you got something faster than expected?
Shipping insurance is included on all domestic shipments at our expense.
We have less than 1/2%
damage, however, it can happen. If you receive an item damaged in transit,
rest assured we will take care of it. All you have to do is let us
know within 72 Hours.(see damage claims below) We use a type-less bar
code shipping system. Your information is printed at the bottom of your
invoice in bar code. It feeds out of our printers and is read by bar
code readers into our FedEx system directly. This ensures accuracy
and assures that the information you provide us is how it appears on the
shipping label. Nothing is manually typed in our shipping system. We make no guarantee
either express or implied as to guarantee delivery date or time on ground shipments,
and any statement made by our staff in reference to transit time or
delivery date is an estimation and not guaranteed.
If we provide you with an estimated delivery day or time, it is only an
educated guess. DO NOT interpret any statements made by our staff as
a guarantee with regards to ground shipping time.
If you need an item on or before a certain date, call and ask for expedited freight.

Express shipping content:
We can often have items to your door in
less than 18 hours from the evening pickup. For Express shipping or RUSH
ORDERS, call toll free 800-867-4611. We can often get orders out the same day for express
shipment up to and sometimes past 5:00pm. Expedited freight orders get
priority handling.
Most in stock orders that are placed by phone prior 2:00PM EST ship
the same day. Online orders placed prior to 2:00pm EST likely ship the
same day or the next business day. It will typically take from 3-7
business days from the date of shipment (Sat & Sun excluded) for
delivery. Transit times are variable based on where your item is being
shipped to.

Understand and accept that we are not the
shipping company, we do not drive the truck, and have no control over
them or any circumstances that occur once a package leaves our building.
Airports and highways can and do close, and shipping can be delayed by
weather and other factors. Therefore, if you opt for express shipping,
it is an assumed risk. We make no representations either express or
implied as to any warranty or guarantee of delivery time or date. You
are purchasing from us, however, you are choosing the method of shipment
at your discretion. In the rare event an express delivery is late or
delivered after the expected time, the customers sole remedy shall be
prorated delivery charges up to 50% of the freight charges.
All
shipments are sent via ground freight unless clearly specified at the
time of order & upcharged to express freight. We make no representations
either express or implied to guarantee shipping date, transit times, and
/ or delivery time and date of ground freight shipments. Any statements
provided by our sales staff, website, or otherwise regarding ground
freight orders are rough estimations. Once an order is processed, we
cannot upgrade the service, or speed delivery in any way.
Errors In Item(s) Received:
In the rare event you receive the wrong item or a wrong color, please
contact us by phone toll free within 48 hours at 800-867-4611. We will issue a
FedEx
pickup tag to have the items picked up, and upon return we will reship
the items. We cannot ship "air" or "express" re-shipments. All
shipments to correct a mistake will be ground freight.

APO / PO Box or Military
We
support our US troops and their efforts to keep our country free. We
will gladly go the extra mile to assist them with delivery. We can hand
deliver items to the post office for APO shipments ONLY. We will not
hand deliver orders that are not APO / Military Boxes. Despite our
additional costs in handling, we will not charge additional fees for
this. Some restrictions apply to what the post office will accept. FedEx
will not deliver to an APO or PO box. If you are not in the US military,
we can not ship via US mail, unless the item will fit in a 5x9 standard
mailer. Once in the US Post Office's hands, we have no control over
delivery time, or tracking. Also delivery times to Military addresses
can take much longer. Per postal regulations, we can not make a lost
package claim until after 30 days of postmark date. At that time they
must be allowed 30 days to locate a lost package. Due to these
conditions, all APO or military shipment sales by US Mail are final. For Heavy or Large items
shipping rate must be quoted before placing the order. The Post office rates are very high for Heavy or Large items and our normal shipping rates shown on your order may not apply. You will be quoted shipping for approval prior to processing. Example: a drum set runs $100.00- $125.00 to mail.
Shipment by US mail to APO/Military Address is an acceptance of these
terms.
Damage Claims
If you receive a damaged item, DO NOT REFUSE THE SHIPMENT! (Even if the carrier tells you to, it is not their package to advise). If the shipping box is beat up, that does not mean the shipment is damaged. The outer box is meant to take the rigor of shipment. If you "refuse" a shipment as "damaged" you will be responsible for the freight outbound, return freight, and the freight to reship it back to you again and 15% restocking fee (if refundable) and reshipment is not elected. you will have 48 hours to contact us by phone
toll free at 800-867-4611. After 48 hours we can not accept damage
claims. Save ALL packaging materials. Do not accept an item if there is
visible damage to the product. If the box appears in rough condition,
inspect the package and contents before signing for it. If there is
damage, contact us immediately. We will make arrangements to get the
item picked up, and a new item sent out as soon as it arrives back and we verify the damage. If you are in a hurry, you can do what is called advance replacement. Advance replacement is where you simply order another item,
and we refund the damaged item upon return. If you "refuse" a
shipment as "damaged" because the shipping box appears damaged, and upon
inspection there is no shipping damage, you will be responsible for the
freight and costs associated with the return. You are not buying
the box, you are buying the contents. If the box is beat up, and
the contents are not physically damaged then you will incur the costs if
you initiate a damage report. We cannot accept damage claims on damaged cardboard, just on damaged product. The box is disposable. If you feel your product is
"defective" please see our
return policy.
DO NOT REFUSE SHIPMENT! If you
do not accept a shipment, refuse a shipment, miss all the delivery
attempts, or provide us with incorrect information or typos in the
address, you will be responsible for the costs associated whether it is
reshipped or refunded. These costs include but are not limited to:
restocking fees' return shipping costs (refusal fees), additional shipping costs to
reship, and the original shipping charges. We will not reship for free an item refused, undeliverable to provided address, or when all delivery attempts are missed. If you provided us an incorrect address, we are not responsible for the package once it ships, and are not liable for any refund.
If the item was shipped for
free the normal shipping rate will be withheld from any refund.
A confirmation email is sent out with every order for which an email address is provided. This is to confirm and verify your information with you. If you do not receive an email, or are unable to open the attachment, please call 800-867-4611.
Tracking Numbers
If you provide us with a working email address, it will be entered in with
your order into our system. When your item ships, Our FedEx program will read
your email address directly off your invoice via bar code into the
shipping system. At the end of the day when our system is closed out, the
data is then sent electronically to FedEx's main servers. Once FedEx reads
the bar code label on the package, they will send you a FedEx Ship Notification
via email. This typically happens with 24 to 48 hours after a shipment. If
you do not provide an email with your order, tracking numbers can be
provided by calling our shipping dept at 800-867-4611. We must restrict
tracking number lookups by phone or email to shipments that are overdue as
our shipping staff is busy getting orders out quickly (possibly yours).
Security Restrictions
Due to the epidemic level
of credit card fraud for orders going to freight forwarding companies in
major port cities (who then ship out of the country), we will not accept any
order other than to the billing address of the credit card for some port
cities. This includes "border towns" in Texas, the entire Miami
Florida Area, and the Seattle area. Additionally we will not ship to
any freight forwarding companies or anyone we suspect as such.
Orders to
freight forwarding companies to be shipped out of the country are considered
and treated as international orders in which terms, restrictions, and
conditions vary from normal domestic policy.
International Orders
We do accept international orders. Some
manufacturers prohibit us from shipping outside the USA. please see our
international orders terms & conditions for complete details.
